National Diverse Student Network

Welcome to NDSN

We understand that students come from diverse backgrounds with different levels of opportunity for social mobility. NDSN is a platform to help students to identify their true professional potential and succeed in a diverse world by providing unified access to e-mentoring through a wealth of e-resources, and an opportunity to collaborate with a virtual community of fellow student members and professionals.

Competitions

We regularly add new competitions from free prize draws to professional mentorships, a mini pupillage with a leading chambers for all of the budding barristers out there, and many more. Please refer to our competitions page for our most up to date competitions…

About Us

The National Diverse Student Network is a student-led organisation which was started in 2020 with the help of founding partners, Barrister, Sailesh Mehta, Solicitor, Michael Herford and academics, Dr Rita D’Alton-Harrison and Nicola Antoniou. It is currently led by a student committee and board of advisers.  The Network is targeted at students from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds and those with an interest in equality, diversity and inclusiveness within education and the professions.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a national platform to empower and equip students with equality of opportunity and to embrace difference.  The aims of the national network include providing unified access to mentoring programmes and training for its members, and to address the need for equality of opportunities in chosen career pathways.
